13 CHILLS

As a chill enters the air and the moon shines bright on cool autumn nights, Howlin' Wolf Records in conjunction with special guest writer Jason Comerford present 13 CHILLS.  This marks the second year of what will hopefully be an annual October series. 13 CHILLS presents thirteen memorable moments in horror film music from classic, cult, and recent films, showcasing the talents of legendary as well as up-and-coming composers.  Each installment provides insight and analysis by Jason Comerford, film score journalist and author. Installments also present an mp3 excerpt highlighting a memorable moment from each score, links to cool websites, as well as comments submitted by participants who visit the site and share personal reflections.  Prizes including rare, limited edition, OOP film scores and composer autographed CDs will be distributed to participants through  a process of random selection.  A prize will be given at the end of each week with a grand prize drawing after Monday, October 31 at the conclusion of 13 CHILLS 2011.
